Chairman of AFED Board of Trustees Dr. Adnan Badran and Secretary General Najib Saab announced, in a joint statement to AFED community in the Arab countries and abroad, that the 12th annual conference scheduled for 14-15 November at Bristol Hotel in Beirut, will go ahead as planned at Bristol hotel in Beirut. AFED annual conference has developed into prime regional event on the environment, attracting Arab and international top-notch speakers and delegates. Since 2008, AFED releases an annual report at the conference, with previous topics ranging from energy, water, climate change, food security, green economy, to financing sustainable development.
